Farmtronics

About Us

Farmtronics has been in business in Regina, Saskatchewan, for over 40 years.  We started in 1977 and for the first few years our focus was on electronic service of agricultural monitoring systems.  It soon became apparent that there was a demand for after-market electronic equipment.  Starting with fabricating and repairing cables, our electrical product lines grew. We tried to stock all connectors, switches, fuses, relays, etc. that we were seeing on agricultural equipment.  As an authorized service centre for White, CNH, MFC, Raven, Micro-Trak, Digi-Star, Avery Weigh-Tronix, etc., we developed a customer base of agricultural dealers.  They were pleased to be able to offer their customers a more cost-effective way to deal with failed monitoring systems.  By organizing our flat-rate repair system by OEM part numbers, we were able to publish a price guide for dealers.  Service is our greatest asset.

By going to trade shows and listening to farmers, we started adding product lines based on their needs.  They told us they wanted industrial quality because of the harsh environmental conditions and affordable prices. With that in mind, we added an engine protection line that included tachometers, pyrometers, gauges, and speedometers made by Isspro.  We also started carrying sprayer controls, valves, and flowmeters made by Raven, Micro-Trak, TeeJet and KZCO.  Grain handling products were added such as moisture testers made by DICKEY-john, Delmhorst, and Agratronix, as well as grain cart and livestock scales by Digi-Star and Avery Weigh-Tronix.  This lead to on-board scales made by Air-Weigh.

Now in the 21st century, of course, precision farming has become very popular.  We now carry Trimble and Raven guidance systems.  There has always been a demand for weather products, and so we have the Davis Instruments weather stations that can even send weather information from a remote location. Weather is a major factor in farm production results.

Many farmers brought farm security and cattle management to our attention as well.  So we started carrying security cameras and driveway alarms.  This led to a wide variety of camera equipment such as the CabCam line of implement cameras and lights.

Today our catalogue is a one-of-a-kind assortment of all the electronic needs for farm use.  If it is a connector for a wiring harness, a reliable state-of-the-art grain moisture tester, or a complete guidance system, we can supply it.  Farmtronics prints and distributes an annual catalogue to farmers.  We also reach out to all farmers in Saskatchewan, Alberta, and Manitoba with a Spring Sale flyer.  Shopping online has been an option for many years, and we are continually updating it to meet your needs.  You may have seen us at one of the trade shows in Regina, Saskatoon, Red Deer, or Brandon.  We rely on you, the farmer, to tell us what you need to make your operation more productive and efficient.

We have been in business for over 40 years, and our knowledge of electronics has grown during that time.  We only offer high quality electronics backed by a reputable manufacturer. The one thing that sets us a part from everyone else is we are YOUR FARM ELECTRONICS SPECIALISTS.  Farmtronics is here to answer all your questions, guide you through the learning process, and make your life easier.  Our legacy is the quality of our service since 1977.
