For counting the number of rotations of a shaft, install the sensor target on the shaft with a 1/4" gap between it and the sensor. The 8" pigtail allows you to splice the exact amount of 18 ga. wire that is necessary for your equipment. Wire is not included. Use Product ID E11530 Shaft Sensor and E11130 Magnet Target sold separtely.
When counting the number of items on a conveyor, install the photo electric sensor kit. There is a maximum of 10' (3 m) between the sensor and pickup which should be large enough for most conveyor systems or livestock chutes. Use Product ID E11401 Photo Electric Sensor Kit sold separately.
