The main shaft on this hubodometer is independent of the front cover, greatly reducing failure caused by frontal impact. For use on agricultural equipment where the unit is calibrated for acres. Measuring the distance the tire rotates in 10 revolutions gives a more accurate base for calibration than the tire make, size, and model.
Calibration Determination:
Each acre meter must be calibrated for a specific application. When ordering, please specify information as per one of the following options.
- Specify tire make, model, size, and implement width, or
- Rotate tire 10 revolutions and measure distance and implement width, or
- Provide the number of rotations a shaft makes per acre if the unit is to be mounted on a shaft.
