Proximity sensors with time delay can solve grain and feed handling problems. This sensor is an electronically controlled switch, activated by most materials as soon as they get close to the upper end of sensor.
Example of application: If the bottom auger stops, the material will accumulate. As the material reaches the sensor, the motor on the top auger is switched off but will be switched on again when the bottom auger starts running, and the material leaves the sensor. Your proximity sensor should control a motor relay as the sensor contacts are rated for only 5 amps. For 10-30V systems.
