IP Digital Camera
An IP (Internet Protocol) camera is a digital video camera commonly used for surveillance, and it can send and receive data via a computer network and the internet. Although cameras that do this are webcams, the term "IP" camera or "netcam" is usually applied only to those used for surveillance. These centralised cameras require a central NVR (Network Video Recorder) to handle the recording, video, and alarm management. Now you have remote accessibility that is a live video from selected cameras that can be viewed from any computer, anywhere, and also from many mobile phones and other devices.

A varifocal lens is a camera lens with variable focal length in which focus changes as focal length (and magnification) changes. This fixed position varifocal bullet camera can be manually focused anywhere from 6 mm (39 degree field of view) up to 22 mm (13.8 degree field of view). It has an IR range of up to 300' for night-time viewing. It is outdoor rated and weather resistant. At 6 mm, it can read a license plate number up to 90' during the day, and facial recognition up to 50' during the day or 25' at night. At 22 mm, it can read numbers on a license plate up to 150' away during the day or 100' at night. Facial recognition is up to 70' during the day or 50' at night. This camera is ideal for identifying facial features and license plates from a distance. Night-time viewing distances will vary and can be increased by adding more light to the area being monitored.
